you write to me, I will do my best to write back within a few days. (Note: If you're under 18,
please ask your parents' permission before writing to me. Though
I assure you that I'm a very nice person, it's important for you to be
careful about who you contact when you're online. Always check in
with your parents first.)
If you email me and by any chance don't hear back from me within a week, please try
emailing me again. It may be your email was eaten by a spam
filter. If you still don't hear back
after that, don't despair: though I don't have a P.O. Box, and I'd rather not
put my home address here, you may write me in care of my
publisher, and they will see that I receive it.
If you're interested in booking me for a story time, signing, or speaking engagement,
I do my best to say "Yes" as often as possible (though I occasionally
do have to decline some events, due to scheduling conflicts). I
don't book very many events for the snowy months (too high a likelihood
of weather-related travel troubles), but I make it to quite a few
bookstores, libraries, schools, and conferences during the rest of the
year.
